rebecca p2024-06-08Amazing family trip to Nepal! Our family of 4 just returned from an amazing 12 day trip of Nepal. I researched and planned our itinerary extensively ahead of time, and found us in need of a safe and reliable driver. Our plans included 2 days in Kathmandu, a day and night on the Trishuli for a white water rafting trip, 3 days in Pokhara (with a 2 day Poon Hill trek in the middle) 2 days in Chitwan on safari, and transport back to Kathmandu. After seeing the large number of very positive reviews on TA, I reached out to Prakash and his team to see if they could provide our transportation service. He responded promptly and professionally, and I felt confident that our family would be well looked-after. We also asked if he could also book our whitewater rafting trip, which he could. We met Prakash in his Kathmandu office where he provided us with more details and information for our trip. Our driver, the fantastic Mr. Nakul, arrived perfectly on time on the morning of our first driving leg. He was friendly and professional, and very comfortable to ride with. His driving skills were topnotch, and we felt safe (which isn't always easy on Nepalese roads!). The whitewater rafting they planned for us was with a well-organized company that included a nice lunch before the rafting, and we had a great time. I would not hesitate to use Prime Himalayas if we ever return to Nepal, and would happily use their expertise to book more of the services (hotels, trek, etc) Thanks Prakash and Mr Nakul for a trip to Nepal that even exceeded expectations!
Susmito N2024-06-08Everest Base Camp Trek We were a group of friends from college who did a 27yr reunion trek to EBC organized by Prime Himalaya. Prakash runs a very professional service with excellent guides and service. Mr Prakash was very prompt and comprehensive answering our questions as we planned the trip. We had some weather delays traveling between Kathmandu and Lukla and Prime Himalayas very proactively managed to switch our itenary while we could see other travelers struggling to do so on their own without good support from their trip organizers. I highly recommend Prime Himalaya!
Ajit K2024-06-07Best Trek Company This is one of the best Trek Company. At the advent of the Sales process they were clear and helped us tailor a trip suitable for our group. Mr. Prakash was always very thorough in answering our questions which helped us prepare for the trek. When we arrived on two occasions we ran into weather issues, Both Guide Kriss(Krishna) and Prakash did an amazing job of keeping our experience at the center of decision making. Kriss was also very knowledgeable and shared wealth of information which made the trek even more beautiful. The sherpas were super helpful as well. I would highly recommend them!

We encountered several weather related issues during the hike that impacted our plans. Arvind S2024-06-05Excellent trek, responsive agency support We trekked Everest Basecamp route - Lukla through Deboche. The tour was heavenly. Prime Himalayas (Mr. Prakash Simkhada) was an outstanding partner. They took great care of us through the whole trip and were highly responsive. We experienced flight delays during the trip due to inclement weather. The tour agency adeptly rerouted us such that our experience remained uncompromised. Our route guide (Krishna Simkhada) was extremely knowledgeable, organized and very helpful through our trek. I highly recommend Prime Himalayas and the route guide for EBC and other trips.
Voyage155087064422024-05-27Everest base camp trek This trip was booked by my wife for me and my son as a surprise trip. I always wanted to go to base camp and on my bucket list. I can honestly say one of the best trips I have done. Booking with Prime Himalayas ensured that everything was taken care of, and we had to worry about nothing. All pickups and hotels were all fab. Did not have to wait around for anything and constantly updated every day on the next steps. We were a group of 3, and the guide and sherpas could not do enough for you. Nothing rushed, and all food and tea houses along the way was great quality. We all felt safe and secure and will definitely use this company in the future. All our goals were completed, and we got to base camp in good time.
Faye L2024-05-27Love Prime Himalayas! Our 12 days trek to Annapurna Base camp was not for the faint of heart so my friends and I were so glad we chose Prime Himalayas to guide us. Our experience with them was top notch. First of all, Prakash, their manager was always on top of our communications. Being in the USA, so far away and not knowing anything about the trek, I had a lot of questions. Prakash was always so prompt with getting back to me. They are 12+ hrs ahead so if I send an email today, I’m guaranteed to see a response the next day, which I appreciate very much. His answers are always very clear snd concise. When we arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal, we were very late and our driver never left us. He waited over 3 hrs for us! Once we got to hotel Jampa, which is a very nice modern hotel stay, we were greeted by Prakash, a welcome juice and his lovely staff. We were quickly given our rooms and told to come back in the evening for briefing of the trek and to meet our guide, Ganga! I don’t think we could have gotten a better guide. Ganga was such a good guide. He speaks English, know the mountains well, super chill and graceful and stuck by us all the way. Never left us and took care of all of our meals, drinks, sleeping arrangements, and taught us a lot along the way. He was basically our server, butler, and our buddy! He totally made our trip as comfortable as we could be and made sure we enjoyed every experience as much as possible. We were so happy to have met Prakash and Ganga and booked with Prime Himalayas for our trek. We made it back home safely and have nothing but wonderful memories and a full heart with it! ♥️

The combination between understanding the culture through the little villages and the breath taking nature Nepal has to offer is in my opinion the best way to see this beautiful country. Also we visited in May what resulted in almost no one on the trail and less cold. Prakash was from the start super well organised and there for every doubt we had. He coupled us with Arjun what was a very professional guide who we can now call a friend. Don’t hesitate and go!

The food was as described, accommodations were as described, and transportation was as described. They did not overpromise and underdeliver. I especially liked our guides and porters—awesome and wonderful people. The trip was worth it, and I will do it again!!
