OUTLINE ITINERARY
Day 1 :Arrival in Kathmandu, pick up from airport and drop to hotel, orientationabout trip (1300m)
Day 2 :Kathmandu-Pokhara and overnight stay
Day 3 :Pokhara-Nayapul- Tikhedhunga/Ulleri
Day 4 :Tikhedhunga/Ulleri-Ghorepani
Day 5 :Sunrise from Poonhill- Tadapani
Day 6 :Tadapani-Ghandruk/Hot Spring
Day 7 :Ghandruk -Nayapul-Pokhara
Day 8 :Pokhara-Kathmandu and overnight stay following farewell dinner with Nepali cultural show.
Day 9 :Departure from Nepal
DAY TO DAY ITINERARY
Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu, pick up from airport and drop to hotel, orientationabout trip (1300m)
Our representative will be waiting for you at the Tribhuwan International Airport, once you land you will picked up from there and dropped to your assigned hotel. Take some rest or you can visit us at our office for some details and orientation about the trek. In the evening, you can stroll around Thamel, the main tourist hub in Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2 : Kathmandu-Pokhara and overnight stay
Drive from Kathmandu-Pokhara by tourist bus (It takes about 7-8 hours
and if you wish you can upgrade short 25 minutes flight at extra cost) and
overnight stay at hotel
Day 3 : Pokhara-Nayapul- Tikhedhunga/Ulleri
You will have start early to take a two-hour drive to Nayapul, the starting point and also the finishing point of the trek. After about twenty minutes walk from Nayapul, you will reach a fork in the trail that splits; you will be taking the one to either Ghorepani or Ghandruk. From here you enter the Annapurna Sanctuary. Continue to walk past little villages that have lodges and restaurants till you get to Tikhedhunga, after that it is mostly uphill on stone steps surrounded by greenery. Tikhedhunga would be the ideal place to spend the night. Overnight in Tikhedhunga.
Day 4 : Tikhedhunga/Ulleri-Ghorepani
After some breakfast, you can start your trek, Ulleri is a litte farther away from Tikhedhunga, you have to walk further and after a long and steep climb and further trek you will finally reach Ulleri. After some rest you can continue ahead and walk past little villages and forest trails towards Ghorepani. The village of Ghorepani is a beautiful quaint mountain destination surrounded by hills and mountains of spectacular beauty. Interestingly earlier this village used to be a stop for horses to drink water to quench their thirst. At Ghorepani, you can use the internet to check your mails or social media. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Day 5 : Sunrise from Poonhill- Tadapani
You will see one of the most spectacular sunrise from Poonhill, wake up early to take an hour’s walk before dawn to Poon Hill. The sights of the beautiful mountain sunrise await us is simply awe-inspiring. You will also see the Dhaulagiri range to the left, which itself is the tallest 8000m peak to be seen from here. The first light of the sun dramatically hits the peak, the beautiful Annapurna Mountains that are closer to the right. The famous fishtail mountain, named for its peak's similarity to the tail of a fish can be seen in its regal brilliance from here. After the sunrise view you can head forward for Tadapani. The village of Tadapani is a main stopping point on the Annapurna trekking circuit, it features the spectacular views of Annapurna II, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare, the famous "Fish Tail" peak. Overnight in Tadapani.
Day 6 : Tadapani-Ghandruk/Hot Spring
The walk to Ghandruk is mostly downward except for a couple of uphill stretches. Ghandruk is another large village which is enjoyable to be in. There is a lot to see there, you can visit the small but interesting Gurung museum to know more about the culture of the ethnic Gurung people of the area. The Jhinu Hot Spring nearby is a popular tourist attraction, where you can spend your afternoon on the natural hot Pool, it is believed that the minerals from the hot water will relief pain and tiredness. Overnight in Ghandruk.
Day 7 : Ghandruk -Nayapul-Pokhara
It is the final leg of the journey, as today you will trek from Ghandruk to Naya Pul, after that it is a short drive back to Pokhara. The downhill trek all the way to Birethanti, is relatively easy. Walk down a staircase paved with stone, bending in and out of the villages and then terraced farmlands. The track keeps following downwards without intervals from Ghandruk until Modi Khola river valley. It is from Birethanti, you will have to take about a 45 minute walk to reach Naya Pul. Your foot journey comes to an end at Nayapul. Then a drive to Pokhara, marks the end of your trek. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 8 : Pokhara-Kathmandu and overnight stay following farewell dinner with Nepali cultural show.
You have two options to get to Kathmandu, you can either fly or drive to the capital. If you choose to fly, please note that the left side windows offer more spectacular views of the Himalayas. If you choose to drive the roadway too offers stunning scenery. Once you reach Kathmandu, you can relax or stroll around the city for some souvenir shopping. In the evening, have dinner with us at the restaurant and enjoy Nepali Cultural Show, while you wine and dine. The show will be presented by professional Nepalese artists, we are sure you will be entertained. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 9 : Departure from Nepal
Your trip comes to a close today, however it is not the end. We are sure you will be planning for another exciting trip with us very soon. After breakfast our representative will drop you off at the airport, three hours before your international flight. Farewell friend.
